Only engage in activities that are safe for you to perform, considering the circumstances. It's important to note that wet materials can be extremely heavy, so exercise caution when handling them. Your safety should always come first in these situations.

In the aftermath of a fire, assessing the safety of your environment is crucial. If it's not safe to stay in the house, evacuate immediately and seek shelter elsewhere. Electrical hazards are a significant concern, so avoid contact with electrical components or appliances that may have been affected by the fire. Additionally, be mindful of potential slip-and-fall hazards, such as debris or slippery surfaces caused by firefighting efforts.

When engaging in cleanup or recovery activities, prioritize tasks that are safe for you to perform. Wet materials, in particular, can be heavy and difficult to manage, so take care when moving or handling them. By prioritizing safety and taking appropriate precautions, you can minimize the risks associated with fire damage and protect yourself and your loved ones.
